BC Green Games shares, rewards and celebrates your green efforts.
The steps to participation include:
1. Register! Sign up your team with your BC Green Games sponsor teacher. Registration begins October 2009.
2. Submit and Share! Starting February 1 and until February 26 2010 help your sponsor teacher submit your entry. View projects in the BC Green Games Gallery and vote for your favourite entries between March 1-15 2010!
3. See the Winners! Chosen by judges and you and announced in April 2010.
Working as a team with other students, you’ll do the following:
- solve an environmental challenge in your school or community
- record what you are doing
Your project may be about things like:
- global warming
- energy
- caring for the environment
- water
- transportation
BC Green Games was developed in collaboration with the B.C. Ministry of Education, the Environmental Educator's Provincial Specialist Association (EEPSA) and the North Vancouver and Richmond School Districts.
