What we’re doing is send out a survey to those of our friends and peers in our class, to let people learn and realize important facts about Starbucks and how all their waste is affecting the environment in different ways.
We did what we said we would do and got Ms. Putman to post our survey about Starbucks cups in the classroom where everyone could see. We figured out that a lot of people already knew about the ‘bring in a reusable cup and you get 10 cents of your drink’ deal, but a lot had never brought in a reusable cup. We measured the amount of people who said that they did or didn't know about the amazing deal at Starbucks. We hopefully informed our fellow classmates about the advantages of bringing a reusable cup to Starbucks.
What we learned from our Green Games project is that a lot of people do understand what plastic cups are doing to the environment and realize that we can help others from polluting the Earth around us.
Bringing in a reusable cup can save a lot of the Earth in different ways; less air pollution, saving the environment and less garbage in landfills. If everyone bought a reusable cup we would have a lot less waste in or on our beautiful Earth.
