Click 1: SUBMISSION FORM

Click SUBMIT on the green bar at the top of the BC Green Games website.

Click 2: TEAM INFO  

Fill in your green team’s information.  To enter your school name, use the drop down menu by clicking on the down arrow and find your school on the list.   To enter the grades of your team members, use the up and down arrows to scroll through and find your grade on the list.

Click 3: TEAM PHOTO

To add a photo of your team, click ADD FILES.  Browse through the files on your computer and select the photo file you would like to upload.  Make sure your photo file has one of the following 3 or 4 letter extensions at the end of the file name: png  gif  jpg  or  jpeg  

Click START UPLOAD.

Click 4:  PROJECT TYPE

Click on the circle beside Photo Essay to upload a photo essay project.

Click 5:  ADD FILES.  

Browse through the files on your computer and select the photo essay files you would like to upload.  The order that you upload them will be the order in which they appear, so upload the first photo of your photo story first, upload the second photo of your story second, etc.  Make sure all of the photo essay files have one of the following 3 or 4 letter extensions at the end of the file name: png  gif  jpg  or  jpeg  

Click START UPLOAD.

Click 6: Ordering Images

What if you images aren't in the right order? Once you've draged your photos into the form and clicked upload files, your images will re-load on the screen. Click the option to "Show row weights" and a numerical drop down will appear beside the Title feild. **Remember to input your captions—it's wise to keep them to about a sentance. 

Click 7: Number Images

To order your pictures as you like, simply click the drop down menu and select the numerical order you'd like them to appear, from one to ten. Once your images are ordered and you've added your captions you can move on to the next step.

Click 8: DESCRIPTION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Please in sert your essay here or include a brief description of your project, includinh hyperlinks to supporting materials, such as websites, online galleries, and blogs. 

If you have composed your essay with Word or powerpoint, you may attach it below your brief description as a pdf file. 

Once you've agreed to the contest rules and conditions, you are ready to hit SUBMIT! 

CONGRATULATIONS! 

You’ve successfully submitted a photo essay. Once you’ve completed the final steps in the submission form, you may view your photo essay by clicking PROJECTS on the green navigation bar at the top of the BC Green Games website.  If you have any difficulties, feel free to contact us at info@bcgreengames.ca.
